1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeerCat's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

2. Description of Service

PeerCat provides AI-powered services including image generation, text/chat AI, deep research, and email-based AI access. Services are provided on a pay-per-use basis using PCAT Credits, PCAT Token, or direct cryptocurrency payments.

3. Account Registration

Some features may require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PeerCat to:

• Generate illegal content or content that violates others' rights
• Create deepfakes or non-consensual intimate imagery
• Generate content depicting minors in inappropriate situations
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users or our systems
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our models or systems
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

5. Payment Terms

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. PCAT Credits are USD-denominated and do not expire. PCAT Token payments are automatically converted to credits at the current bonding curve rate. Cryptocurrency payments are final once confirmed on-chain.

6. PCAT Token Disclaimer

PCAT is a community support token. It is NOT a utility token, security, or investment. PCAT does not provide any governance rights, revenue sharing, or special platform access. The token is traded on a bonding curve and its value may fluctuate. Do not purchase PCAT expecting financial returns.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create using our services, subject to the terms of the underlying AI models. PeerCat and its logos are trademarks of PeerCat. You may not use our trademarks without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

PeerCat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without notice.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PeerCat operates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
